Who you’re dealing with
Bossa is made and sold by Robert Rogge, a self-employed person (autónomo) in Spain. “We” and “us” on these pages means him. You can reach us at hello@bossa.day. The legal notice has the full details.
By starting your free days, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
What Bossa is
Bossa is an app for your own to-do list, on Windows, Mac and the web, with Android and iPhone to follow. One subscription covers all of them, and every feature Bossa has or gains.
The desktop apps keep working without the internet. The web version needs a connection to open your list.
Your account
- You need an account to use Bossa. You sign in with Google, Apple or a code sent to your email.
- One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you’re responsible for what’s done with it.
- You must be old enough to make a contract where you live.
The free days and paying
- You start with three free days. To start them, you add a card. Nothing is charged during them.
- When they end, the card is charged €27.95 for a year of Bossa, unless you’ve cancelled.
- Prices include VAT. If you’re a business with an EU VAT number, your invoice shows it.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe and never reaches us.
- Your invoices are on your dashboard, under Billing.
Renewal and price
- Your plan renews every year, on the date it started, until you cancel.
- We email you about 35 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount.
- The price you start on is the price you renew at. If we change the price, it applies to new subscriptions only.
Cancelling
- Cancel from your dashboard at any time. There’s nothing to fill in and no one to call.
- During the free days, you’re never charged, and you keep using Bossa until the three days end.
- During a paid year, you keep Bossa until the end of the year you’ve paid for, and it doesn’t renew. You can change your mind and resume before that date.
- Your list isn’t deleted when you cancel. After your time ends, it stays read-only for a while, so you can still open it and copy it out.
If a payment fails
If a renewal can’t be charged, Stripe tries the card again over the next 30 days, and Bossa carries on as normal. If none of the tries work, the plan ends and your list becomes read-only for a while: everything is still there, and paying again brings it back to normal. You can update your card under Billing at any time.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, without giving a reason. Renewals aren’t refunded, so cancel before your renewal date if you don’t want another year. The refund policy says how.
EU law gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online contract. Bossa starts working the moment you ask it to, but our refund policy gives you the same 14 days anyway, from your first payment.
Your list
- What you write in Bossa is yours. We claim no rights to it.
- We store it so it can reach your other devices. We don’t read it. See the privacy policy.
- You can export your list as plain text at any time, and it opens in any text editor.
- If your plan ends and you don’t come back, we keep your list read-only for a while, then delete it. If you delete your account, it goes at once.
Using Bossa fairly
Use Bossa for your own list. Don’t try to break it, overload it, get into other people’s accounts, or resell it. If an account is used that way, we may close it, and we’ll tell you why.
Changes
Bossa will change as it improves, and these terms may change with it. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Liability
We work hard to keep Bossa running and your list safe, and the desktop apps keep a copy on your computer. But no service is perfect. Except where the law doesn’t allow it, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability for things the law says can’t be limited.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protections of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts. If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@bossa.day; most things are quickest fixed that way.
